Company Vehicle Accident Initiative From Police Reports Swiftcover

Published: 10/06/08

The police are launching a new campaign to reduce the number of accidents that involve company vehicles according to information provided by Swiftcover.

Following findings from the Health and Safety Executive that showed twenty road deaths each week involved company vehicles the police decided to take action to reduce this figure. The first thing they will do is check the vehicles themselves that companies operate to ensure they are meeting basic safety standards.

Those who also manage company vehicles are being urged to ensure all policy documentation is up to date to avoid any issues later on. The Swiftcover insurance team are always happy to help with any questions customers may have and have invited people to ask them about things they are unsure of.
